This gorgeous Art Deco amber pendant is made from silver and slabs of amber which have been put together to make a geometric jigsaw.
The neckchain is of the ‘paperclip’ variety and the necklace dates to the early 1930’s - just before World War II
The maker is German and the company was founded in 1771. The owner decided to call it ‘fishlandschmuck’ using the outline of a small fish as his trademark.
The back has the silver mark for Germany (835) as well as the small fish sign.

It is so beautifully made with many types of amber or bernstein as it is called in German.
